2026 Abu Dhabi Spartan World Championship Weekend

Spartan is back again to the culturally rich and visually intoxicating dunes of Abu Dhabi, UAE for the 2026 Spartan World Championship hosted by Abu Dhabi Sports Council. Festivities will include a myriad of local traditions and flavor, including local fare, cultural demonstrations, and some good ole fashion dune buggies.

The Spartan World Championship weekend will include a variety of different World Championship races. A select group of top elites will battle for the 3K Elite World Championship title, while Elite and Age Group racers looking for a more grueling challenge will take on the qualification-based 21K Beast Championships. There's Sprint and Super races, too, including a women's and co-ed night Sprint, and even a 3k Elite Team Relay, where co-ed teams of three come out to represent their country and fight for the top podium spot.
